You Did That Girl!
My family and I spent Christmas week in Orlando, Florida. We were away from home, out of routine, and fully in vacation mode. Still, before we even left, I made a quiet decision that I was going to keep moving.
I did not commit to perfection. I committed to consistency.
Each day looked different. Some workouts were short. Some days were slower. Some days simply meant intentional movement, but every day, I showed up. On the fifth day, something settled in my spirit. This was no longer effort. This was evidence of a habit I had built over time.
It stayed with me even when everything around me changed.
Now I am standing here on the last day of the year, and that realization feels heavier in the best way. Making it to the end of the year is not small. It is not automatic. It is the result of showing up again and again when it would have been easier to stop.
Scripture ReflectionLet us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
~ Galatians 6:9
Heart TruthsMany women reach the end of the year already focused on what they did not finish. We rush past this moment without honoring what it took to get here, but today matters. The fact that you made it to the end of the year matters.
Your consistency carried weight this year. It covered your children on days they needed stability. It supported your marriage in moments that required patience and grace. It showed up in friendships, work, and ministry where people quietly depended on you to be present.
Even when you felt tired, even when you questioned yourself, you kept going. That kind of faithfulness builds trust. It creates safety. It forms a foundation that others stand on, even when they never say it out loud.
Making it to the end of the year is not about completing every goal. It is about staying committed to love, responsibility, and purpose through changing seasons. You may not see the full impact yet, but your showing up mattered more than you know.
You are still standing and your people are better because you stayed.
Loving Well In ActionSince today is the final day of the year, let us pause with intention before moving forward.
Take a few moments and do this.
• Acknowledge one habit you stayed consistent with this year.
• Name one season where continuing felt hard but you kept going.
• Say this out loud. I made it to the end, and it mattered.
This is not about self praise. It is about truth. Your consistency sustained more than just you.
Finish With IntentionFinal reminder.
You made it to the end of the year.
That is not small.
You did that girl!
