The Right People, The Right Time

While on a recent flight to Atlanta, everything seemed routine until suddenly it wasn't. The stewardess came running through the aisle, panic written all over her face. She grabbed the mic and urgently asked, “Is there a doctor on board?

Without hesitation, a man in row 1A jumped up and rushed down the aisle. Thankfully, he was a doctor. For ten long minutes, the plane was silent. When he returned to his seat and the stewardess said the passenger was stable, you could almost feel a collective sigh of relief sweep through the front of the plane.

In that moment, I said in my heart, “God, You really do have a way of making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time.”

Heart Truths:

Life has a way of catching us off guard. We plan, prepare, and pray but sometimes, things still take a turn we didn't expect. Yet, even in the unexpected, God is already working behind the scenes. He knows what you'll need before you even get there. He has people helpers, encouragers, intercessors, even strangers positioned and ready to respond when life throws a curveball.

So, when the unexpected hits your marriage, motherhood, work, or ministry, remember this: you're never without help. God has already assigned the right people to show up when it matters most.

When God sends the right people at the right time, it is not only for your rescue but also for your renewal. It strengthens your heart so you can keep showing up for the ones who need you. Because when you are lifted, your people are lifted too. Your marriage benefits from a stronger you. Your children experience a more present and peaceful mom. Your ministry grows from a heart that has been refreshed by divine help.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to trust that He does.

 Loving Well in Action:

When you can't plan it all, you can still prepare your heart to recognize and receive help when it comes. Here's how to love well through life's unexpected moments:

  1. Stay Open. Don't push away the help God sends, whether it's advice, support, or prayer. Sometimes your answer comes wrapped in someone else's presence.

  2. Acknowledge Divine Timing. Thank God for showing up through people, big or small.

  3. Be the Help. You might be someone else's “row 1A.” Pray and ask God to position you where your presence can bring peace or healing to someone else.

Rest in God's Plan, my friend. When things feel uncertain, remind yourself: He already has it worked out.

Scripture Reflection:

“Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.” - Proverbs 19:21 (NIV)
